Wolves One Pack Week: Celebrating Diversity, Inclusion, and the Power of Support

At Girls in Old Gold, we believe football is for everyone. That is why Wolves One Pack Week meant so much to us.

It was a week to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the people who make the Wolves family stronger. For our group, it was a chance to share our voices, welcome new members, and show why community matters.

Members sharing their love for Wolves

One of the best parts of the week was hearing from our members directly.

We created a series of videos where members introduced themselves and spoke about their love for Wolves. These clips showed the different stories, backgrounds, and experiences that make up our group. They also showed something simple but powerful. We all belong here.

It was great to give our members a platform and let them speak in their own words about what Wolves means to them.

Reaching fans ahead of Tottenham

We also took the chance to speak to fans in person before the Tottenham match.

Our team handed out leaflets by the subway, encouraging people to join Girls in Old Gold and learn more about what we do. It was a brilliant way to connect with supporters face to face and spread the word about our growing group.

The response was positive, and it was encouraging to see so many people interested in what we are building.

Support from creators and Wolves fans

Another highlight of the week was a special video message of support from a number of content creators and high profile Wolves fans.

In the video, they spoke about why male support and allies are so important to our group. That message mattered. Inclusion is stronger when people stand together, listen, and support one another.

For a female supporters group, welcoming male allies is important because real change does not happen in isolation. Football culture improves when everyone who cares about the game helps create a more open and respectful space.

Male allies can play a big part in that. They can support women’s voices, listen to women’s experiences, and help challenge attitudes that make football less inclusive. Sometimes the most powerful support is simple. It is backing the group, speaking positively about its work, and helping make sure women are heard and valued.

We were proud to see so many people using their platforms to back women’s voices and support our work.

Why One Pack Week matters

One Pack Week was about more than a theme. It was about showing what football can be when people feel welcome, respected, and heard.

For Girls in Old Gold, that means creating safe spaces, amplifying women’s voices, and building a stronger support network around the club we love.

Membership continues to grow

The best part is that this is only the beginning.

Thanks to the support we have had during One Pack Week, membership continues to grow. More people are finding out about Girls in Old Gold, joining the conversation, and becoming part of our community.

That growth gives us real hope for the future. It shows that when you create space for everyone, people respond.
