Girls in Old Gold partners with Her Game Too

Girls in Old Gold started for a simple reason.
Women and girls who support Wolves deserve a space that feels welcoming, safe, and proud.

So here’s some news we’re proud to share.

Girls in Old Gold is now partnering with Her Game Too.
You can find out more about Her Game Too here: https://www.hergametoo.co.uk

This matters. Not because it sounds official, but because it helps us protect what we are building, and push for better for women and girls in football.

Quick bit first: what is Her Game Too?

Her Game Too is a campaign that tackles sexism in sport and promotes gender inclusivity.

They work across sport to raise awareness, support fans, and help make stadiums, online spaces, and matchdays feel safer and more welcoming.

They also provide a clear way to report sexism through their website:

Why this partnership makes sense for Girls in Old Gold

We created Girls in Old Gold because women’s matchday experiences are real.

Most women who go home and away have felt it at some point.

The comments. The looks. The “do you even know the rules?” stuff. The online nonsense. The extra planning just to feel safe.

We love Wolves. That should be the main thing.

Partnering with Her Game Too supports our mission because it helps us:

  • stand with a wider movement that is calling out sexism in sport
  • share trusted resources for supporters who need support
  • encourage reporting and accountability when behaviour crosses the line
  • keep building a culture where women and girls feel confident showing up as fans

What does “partner” mean for us?

It means we are committing to work alongside Her Game Too and support the same message:

Women and girls belong in football. Full stop.

It also means Girls in Old Gold will keep doing what we have always done, but with better links and clearer signposting for anyone who needs help.

We stay independent. We stay Wolves. We stay female focussed.

What happens next?

We’ll keep growing our community and sharing practical support, including:

  • what to do if you experience or witness sexism
  • ways to back other women and girls on matchdays
  • how to report incidents (and why it matters)
  • how we can keep improving the experience around Wolves

Thank you for being part of Girls in Old Gold. If you’ve shared our posts, joined a conversation, or supported another fan who needed it, you’ve already helped.

This partnership is another step forward.
